The Architecture of Repair

GoodDrugsUSA is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary studio founded on the belief that a garment’s value is earned through labor, not just production.

The GoodDrugs narrative began in 2012 with Lordofthepyramids, a digital archive that documented the genesis of modern streetwear and provided a primary platform for the first-ever insights into ASAP Yams and FTP.

In 2013, as founder of Way-V Motives I was in charge of curating vintage clothing for Los Angeles locals and musical artists, such as, Playboi Carti and Tyler the Creator at the Melrose Trading Post. I have spent fifteen years identifying the cultural shifts that define the "archive" era. Today, that documentation has evolved into a specialized technical craft.

The DND (Distressed N Destroyed) philosophy treats denim and canvas as living artifacts. We do not manufacture clothes; we age them through a rigorous, manual intervention process. Each piece is subjected to 40+ hours of physical deconstruction, hand-drawn illustration, and high-density Sashiko "Visible Mending."

By utilizing the traditional Japanese needle to reinforce intentional "destruction," we create a structural tension between decay and repair. Every stitch is a record of time; every rip is an architectural choice.

In an era of disposable fashion and algorithmic design, GoodDrugsUSA represents the return of the human fingerprint. We provide art in physical form—designed, distressed, and documented in Los Angeles.
